The End?

There's no point in keeping a Skidz site if skidz don't ever ride. So this may very well be the last post. Any time anyone wants to revive Skidz, let me know. Farewell skidz.

Last Chance

July 15th is the next time Skidz ride and it happens to be the last ride that I go to underage. That's right skidz you have one last chance to get me drunk illegally, I turn 21 on the 19th. My last illegal drink, I hope you'll all be there to savor it with me...although, there's always Green Dragon.

Bribery

No one showed at the corner last ride. Skidz ride this Saturday on the First of July. I'll share a joint with everyone that shows up at the corner at 10. You can't argue with that, can you skidz? See you all at 4th and Warner on Saturday.

The Heat Is On

Alright Skidz. The heat is here. It's time to cool off with some refreshing drinks and then heat it back up again with a hot dance party, only to cool it back down with more drinking...it's an endless cycle really. June 17th is the next Skidz ride, it should be a nice night for drinking and dancing. See you at 10pm on the corner.

Chico Party Gay Sex!

Skidz ride this weekend. Chico State graduation weekend. There's bound to be some parties we can crash. Butte College goes for another week, so for all you Skidz that are attending Butte, why not take a little break from studying for finals, just for one night? It will be worth it. I'll try to bring Wet Dream and maybe some shitty rum to share with all of you. If someone brings some shitty vodka we can mix us up a nice batch of Rodka. Who knows, maybe we can get Raw Sewage to take a couple shots. See you on the corner, Skidz. May, 20.

Blackjack Comeback

There were a few Skidz on the corner. Blackjack finally came back and rode with us. Raw Sewage showed off his sweet new fucked up hawk. We rode to Tony's where Drum Circle got caught buying booze while underage then we rode onto some party that had a shitty band. I thought that with more drinking they would sound better, but I was wrong. Drum Circle offered to drive some guys to get another keg on the condition that all the Skidz get their 40s filled up for free. Fun stuff. After a night of partying there was some hot cuddling action at Drum Circle and Bong Water's house. Skidz ride this saturday on May 6th.

Not So Random Porch

There were 4 new Skidz last ride, but one was late so he didn't get a name. Shortly after leaving Tony's we lost one of the new guys, Dr. Stickfigures, and a little bit later another newjack, The Dictionator, went home sick. On our way to a party at 14th and Normal we decided to visit Piccolo via planned Random Porch...so, not so random. It turned out that nothing was happening at the party so we all stayed on the porch and shared stories. It seems that next sunday will mark the beginning of a game of Assassins in Chico. It only costs a dollar per person to play and the object of the game is to assassinate other players with various weapons, the winner of the game wins the pot. Power Struggle

Apparantly Skidz has somewhat of a political structure and it was a very amusing thing to observe. A new Skid joined and he was named Beer4Less but that was vetoed by Raw Sewage. Questions arose as to the power structure of the Skidz and a few pledged their allegience by the amount of time spent riding. Raw Sewage renamed the Skid Glass Cut but after many protests a compromise was reached. The new Skidz name is now Beer Cut. It was a very interesting thing to see. After our party at Drum Circle's friend's house we rode on and had a party at our newest Skidz member's house. Skidz Fight Club was continued with The Angry Phoenix and Beer Cut, shortly followed by Raw Sewage and Bong Water. After that fun we crashed an 80's dress up party at some bro's house. The head bro got uncomfortable with the male on male dancing and 'kindly' asked us to leave. Skidz ride April 8. See you at the corner.

If This Is Your First Night At Skidz, You Have To Play Dodgeball

I wake up with bruises and cuts on my face, arms and legs and through the haze the memories come back to me. There were about 8 Skidz including the return of Wet Dream. We rode to an open parking lot and played a nice long game of dodgeball. After the game we went in search of a party, but found nothing to our liking. We decided to crash someone's porch instead. The porch party was much fun and very comfortable but, eventually we rode on to the Broken Glass. We stopped briefly at the corner store to buy supplies and stand on a car. Wetdream, Raw Sewage and myself initiated the Skidz Fight Club and had some fun with that. Skidz ride Saturday the 25th. And don't forget to go to the Third Year Anniversary of Day X Critical Mass gathering this Saturday the 18th. Bring your bike to M.L.K. Park on 20th Street at 1:30pm.

Blow the Whistle

There were about 25 Skidz this time and 9 of them were new. Fantastic. The Captain is still holding the dodgeball for ransom, so I say we either pay up or get another one. Whistles were handed out at the corner and baseball cards were put in all our bike spokes so we made ourselves heard. Two of the new people were a reporter and a photographer for the Orion doing some nice in-depth journalism into the Skidz. I hope they found what they were looking for. After roll-call we headed to Tony's and then to a party that had an empty keg. We stayed there for a while and then rolled out to a birthday party. After singing happy birthday, having a dance party, and getting complaints from the neighbors we moved on to more familiar territory, the Broken Glass House. There we finally played our long overdue game of dodgeball. After sweeping the shards of broken glass onto the grass, because we all know grass nullifies the effects of broken glass, we played a drunken game of dodgeball. Some more dancing and then the few that remained rode on again. Our next and final destination was on 8th and Ivy. On the way I stopped to get my brother, The Angry Phoenix and we all had a great time. I lost my bag along the way, so if anyone finds it I would like it back. It's brown and has a Propagandhi patch and a Flogging Molly patch. Oh, and April O'Neil, if you're reading this get in touch with me. I would like to know when your Skidz article hits the streets. The Return of the Skidz

Finally! Skidz came back to the corner and on the one-year anniversary of this site no less. I had faith in you Skidz. Apparantly the new flyer had an impact. 11 Skidz. Although I got some less-than-happy remarks about it. But, ah well, fuck the critics. Skidz was back with a vengence. After swinging by Tony's and pissing off quite a few noisy drivers we rode to some party with a live band. What, no dodgeball? This was a first. Next ride I hope someone remembers to bring the ball. After the cops busted up the party with the live band we rode on into the night. The next party we crashed was some angel and devil party. They didn't appreciate us Skidz playing on their dance pole. I thought we laid down some pretty good moves. Once we grew tired of that scene we rode on. We headed to the Broken Glass House, stopping briefly to get in a near fight with some bros. Some more drinking, a bit of chronic and a great game of spin the forty and we called it a night. I'm happy to see that Skidz are back in full spirits and I hope it just keeps getting better. Next ride is the 25th. Somebody bring the dodgeball this time.

New Look

The site just got a slightly different design. Also the Skidz flyer has been redesigned and will continue to be. The next ride is February llth. Be at the corner of 4th Ave and Warner at 10pm. Skidz is coming back.

Getting Warmer

The nights are getting warmer so that should mean more skidz. We'll see. Saturday night at 10pm this weekend is the next ride. January 28th. Bring your drugs.
